Posted by Jane Mccarthy Kathy Macdonald at May 8th, 2009 in Internet Marketing
As summer quickly approaches, we students are again looking for the ideal college student summer jobs. Given the current state of the global economy, it is far more likely these days that college students will have alot of trouble keeping the current jobs they do have, let alone finding a new one.
So what are we meant to do when there is a shortage of college student summer jobs? We college students need to start thinking out of the square and look to other ways we can keep ourselves to be financially stable through the summer holidays. So think to yourself what else could I be doing instead of the traditional college student summer jobs?
Now that you are pondering this question, did you come up with ideas like painting your neighbor’s house, babysitting your neighbor’s kids, washing cars on the streetcorner? Those could all be good ways to make extra income, but they all depend on getting paid one time for the work that you do. What is something you could do that you could do once and get paid for repeatedly?
College kids all over are beginning to figure out the massive power and earning potential of making money online and using the internet to gain a full-time income and beyond. I found out about this the for the first time at college-money-reality.com. This site teaches a great online marketing method called affiliate marketing. The best thing about this site was that all I needed to do was watch a video, I didn’t need to read anything to get the information I was looking for.
So for your next college student summer jobs are you going to be working for someone or become your own boss? I know the stress I had on my shoulders when I was working 45 hours or more in hospitality as well as studying 40 hours or more and then there were exams on top of that.
This whole thing was driving me insane. I had so much to do in so little time. When I started learning internet marketing, this added even more stress to my already full schedule.
I will tell you now though I am glad I decided to learn internet marketing and continued it as my choice of a college student summer jobs. Because now I am reaping the rewards, I only work 10 hours a week on my internet marketing campaigns and I am making $300-$400 a week. This has given me a much more stress-free college life.
